i have nothing nice to say today.

why? this is why:
i spent a good portion of my day cleaning up other people's messes (primarily DC's, as usual).
i submitted a complaint to american airlines for making me sit in airports for 15 hours on my birthday.
another of the san jose earthquakes' star players (goalkeeper joe cannon) signed with a european team today (rc lens, in france).
i can't get the project database to work correctly, and i need it to work correctly by the end of the day so i can enter the information necessary for monday's meeting.
i just gave myself a papercut on my lip. (ow!)

good things, though:
it's friday. 'nuff said. and hey, it's super bowl weekend!
the senate FINALLY approved the appropriations bill... now all that needs to happen is presidential consent. no matter that it's FOUR MONTHS LATE. but goddamn, it's about damn time. maybe soon i can actually do my job.
