i want my money back! someone make wisconsin boy give me my money back. i've been nice about it so far, but seriously, i don't have deep enough pockets that i can just swallow a debt of $250 from someone who is just being a jerk to me about it. *sigh*
i went to work out last night for the first time in a long long time... marla and i are going to start working out together at the mountain view 24 hour, which is waaay nicer than the ghetto 24 hour up in daly city. she has a pretty regimented workout system, which works out well for me because i'm lazy lazy lazy! if i know she'll kick my ass if i don't go (and she will!), then i'll go. i'll make her do abs stuff, which is the thing she hates the most. plus, it's more fun to work out with someone rather than by yourself. it makes the time go faster and the pain more bearable.... although i'm pretty stiff and sore today. i must get back in a routine that forces me to get in shape, and makes me not be sore after one day's work out. weak! i'm so weak. ahh, well.
mr. rogers died today, at age 74. as bryan says, there goes another icon of our childhood. even if he and his puppets were a little creepy. ;)
i hope ya'll don't miss me too terribly in the next few days, because i'll be in VEGAS, baby! i'm not a huge fan of las vegas in general (seeing as it's pretty much the bane on existence out there in the desert, and a huge sucking sound on the water supply), but it'll be a big family shindig, and a little time away and out of the office, so that'll be nice. i'll get to see some of my lovely cousins, see some of the east coasters that i haven't seen in years, and even meet a few new family members! my mom hasn't seen her cousin mark since she was 13 (so obviously way before i was born), and he's coming out from connecticut, along with his brother bruce, cousins hartley, robert, and the west coast contigent. i get to see blue man group, which is something i've been wanting to see ever since an ex-boyfriend raved about it years ago after his trip to new york city. everything i've heard about it has been good, and i'm pretty into the pseudo-music soundstage productions... i loved stomp, blast, bring in da noise bring in da funk, etc... which all seem to fall in the same genre. a first-hand review to be posted on monday, i'm sure. :)
happy birthday, mrs. george, even though i know you'll never see this. happy birthday anyway!
