welcome to the week from hell. well, crunch week, at least. in the aim of making our foundation fiscally accountable (imagine that!), we have to do a massive clean-up ("crunch week") of all active project files this week. lucky me, being one of the people in the foundation with the highest numbers of active files, woo hoo! it's not a difficult task, but there are a lot of things we have to do for each project so it's pretty time-consuming (and tedious). oh well. hopefully it means that we're on the verge of being a functional organization, which would be absolutely lovely...

had a decent weekend... i stopped by dan's graduation party for a bit, but i didn't know any of the people there so i stuck around for just a little while. it was good to see him, and maybe he'll be in the area for the summer before he takes off for parts unknown to get a job. he had an interview down in riverside this past weekend, so hopefully things will look good for him. after that, i met up with marla and liz for some aqui (yum!) before the quakes-columbus game. quakes won! anyu and apu were down in OC for laura's graduation party, so l&m came with me. they're fun to pal around with, we always seem to have a good time and get into some good trouble (fun, i mean. :)). anyway, quakes won... it was pretty sloppy, but hey, we won so i won't complain. my newly annointed favorite player (now that wade is gone and troy is injured), brian mullan, had yet another goal. he's such a stud... also scoring for the boys in blue was little jamil walker, who is certainly beginning to make a name for himself. as they say on the boards, the next dwayne derosario? :) bryan didn't make it to the game either, and he gave his tickets to his boss who was rooting for the other team! grrrr.... oh well.

then sunday, liz and i surprised marla with tickets to the beck concert at the greek theater in berkeley... it was her birthday present from me, and we just decided to make a whole day of it. marla LOVES beck, by the way, so i think she rather enjoyed it :) it was a beautiful day too, so it was nice to be outside and get some sun.

and then around 9pm on sunday, it hit me that this week is crunch week. gah!! oh well.

good things: setareh is here this week and next, punky is here this week... home quakes games the next two weekends... next friday is a holiday (and i think i'll be taking at least one more day off next week, just because i can)... might go to trivia night tonight, if i can get myself off my ass. woo hoo!
