awww, my bruin friend from OC isn't going to come up for the UCLA-stanford game... i figured he probably wouldn't, since his brother is turning 21 that weekend. perfect excuse to make a vegas trip, which they finally did decide to take. bummer, but understandable. there are other people caravanning up though so i'll get to see some of my new alumni association buddies. (it'll hopefully be a W in our column, but the way we've been playing i'm not terribly optimistic.)

chad is going to be in town from ohio next week/weekend! yay! he always shows up in california around this time of year... i'm glad he comes out to visit somewhat regularly. i don't get to see him much otherwise, although i was able to go out to visit him in columbus in 2001. i'm excited to see him!
