man. yet another productive day today.... i figured out how to get back into the ftp for my ucla website, so i could update it and remove all the old old junk that was there. i'm pretty much just going to use the space to post pictures, since i can't post pictures to my bloggy... i'll put up a permanent link over to the left, but here's another link just for today: [photo page] UCLA has been so kind to keep my account open for three years, so i might as well use it instead of letting it fester with old material.

i probably should have taken a sick day today. i might have gotten more done. i really work so much better under big deadlines.

hit up popscene last night with kat, sammy, and their friends sam, jonathan, and darlene. contrary to what the name might imply, it's actually a punk club. it's more relaxed and has a bigger dancing area than bottom of the hill, so it's kind of cool. i like those kinds of things better when i'm somewhat familiar with the music, but it was okay. the band was phaser, and they were pretty decent (but they were no rocket from the crypt!). i'm not used to 18+ clubs, so it was a bit odd to see the young 'uns in there. still fun though. pretty kickback, not too hectic for a thursday night outing. and i even made it to work almost on time today! (and the slight lateness, like 10 minutes, was muni's fault, not mine.)

johnny cash and john ritter both died last night. sad, and weird. one's a music legend, and the other's, well, that guy next door that you grew up watching on three's company. it's always strange to realize how fragile and trite life is.
