tahoe was lovely! cold but beautiful. we had excellent weather all weekend, and since it snowed up there on thursday and friday, the snow was perfect and powdery for the snowboarders. i however was trying to sled-- powder is not conducive to sledding! it was still fun anyway. it was a good group of people... fun to hang out with people i already know, and fun to meet new ones! it's funny to hang out with people who don't really drink, though... instead of playing drinking games, they make each other do push-ups and crunches as punishment for losing card games. hee! one of the guys, trung, ended up having to do something like 120 push-ups at once. yikes! poor guy. some of judy's pictures are up on my ofoto site, so check 'em out :) i only took a few pictures, so it'll be a while before mine get developed.

this weekend reinforced my desire to learn how to snowboard, though. once my knees are stronger... and once i have more money to spend...

sonia's bridal shower was also this weekend. some of the soccer girls are fun to hang out with... it's funny how i became one of the "veterans" so quickly. i think it's similar to my integration at clicc-- i became closest friends with the people who had been around awhile (and i know what i'm doing), so people assume i've been around awhile too. but then, i like it because it helps my social circle grow. i like doing stuff with those girls... and with jessica too, even though she's a non-veteran like me :)

also, holy buzzer shot! did you see nick robinson's three-point hurl at the buzzer to catapult stanford to a win over arizona? jeez, talk about a clip for the highlight reel... that puts stanford at a 20-game undefeated streak. *sigh*

i rather enjoy the "slow" times at nfwf. i like working hard and working to deadlines, but sometimes the stress level gets to me. now i get to play catch-up...
