i don't feel like i have much to talk about. been busy with work stuff... i'm trying to catch up on contracting (which i've been slightly putting off) because i just got 16 new projects to contract from the portland office. also next week we're having a series of meetings with BLM, the portland staff, the evaluation conservation officer, etc, plus i have to do all my follow-up on the preproposals before we can ask for full proposals or turn the projects down. fun, i tell you.
not as much fun as randy's having, i'm sure, though-- he got home from work around midnight on wednesday, and the next two weeks don't look to be much better. i guess i can't complain too much.
i do get to leave work a bit early today, though, because we have a 6pm call for the concert tonight. i don't feel like we're ready, but the concerts are upon us so we'd better be ready! i hope it goes well. i have a concert tonight and one tomorrow night, and then all we have left is the skyline graduation concert (which i won't be at since i'll be in yosemite, but i'll probably go to practice anyway). it's been tiring to have choir four days this week, though.
tomorrow is also birthday party extravaganza-- one for arlene and one for seth... and then celine and judy's birthday bashes are the following two weekends. wheee! lots of birthdays in may. mark's is also in may, on 5/25. and stephen's 21st birthday is this saturday. happy 21, cuz!
anyway, much boringness abound in my blog today. sorry about that.
there was this really asinine guy on muni this morning... he randomly would talk to people about little stuff, and then once he had their attention, he'd launch into some tirade about something or another. this one poor girl told him to have a good day (trying to close the conversation, obviously), and he told her that he always has a good day and here's why... *sigh* and then this little old lady tried to sit down next to the guy (because there was an open seat, but he was taking up both seats), and he pushed her away and wouldn't let her sit there. she was so old that she was shaking when she walked, and was one of those people who is so nervous to move when they're on a moving bus/train that they grip so tightly onto anything they can find. and this guy pushed her! ugh. whatever. a guy across the aisle took her arm and helped her find another seat, but man. mean (and selfish) people suck. seriously.
