i don't have tons of time to blog about all the goings-on of the family-filled weekend, but i wanted to mention it. i spent all day saturday and into sunday afternoon in LA with the warga clan (dad's side), including four generations of cousins. i'm glad i went, especially to see some of the cousins haven't seen in years, meet their spouses and children, etc. also good to see the older folks who i know pretty well but hadn't seen in a while. there were 17 billion pictures taken (including the one below), and i think that i had a drink in my hand for every one! *sigh* it was much fun to hang out with tom, michael, katie, jason (of burger king fame!), doug, lisa, et al. after the warga clan shindig was over, we headed to a bbq with cousins on my mom's side, so it was a family-inundated weekend. all good, though.

another thing i have to mention-- the last three earthquakes games have been big wins! i unfortunately had to miss the LA game for the aforementioned family reunion, but the last three home games have been 3-for-3. hopefully they can take the show on the road, since they will be playing away from home until july 23. i did like to see that my beloved wade had a pretty good game yesterday. i hope he continues to make strides towards becoming his old self.

tonight is the mormon tabernacle choir at hp pavilion and then packing for this weekend, the much-awaited lassen trip! yay!
