we are the champions

i know i've been lax of late with the tay tracker updates, but i am now bringing you the ultimate update:

on monday night, the 2007 san jose giants came back from a 0-2 game deficit to sweep the lake elsinore storm in the last three games of the series and take the cal league championship in front of the home crowd. here's what it looked like:

check out the highlights and the post-game commentary, too. i was fortunate enough to be able to spend some time in the team's celebration as well, which was beer-drenched and giddy. it was so great to see tay, joey, mark, brian, and all of the boys win after such a solid season. i hope not to see any of them back in san jose (maybe fresno or sf), but i will definitely be watching for their future successes.
