goodness, what a packed week. had so much to get done this week, and i actually did! i'm exhausted and may be starting to get sick, but at least i was able to effectively manage my time and get my work done. can't say that about my cohorts here in the office who had some of the same deadlines as me (but i had two other deadlines on top of those, but hey...). at least the right people know i'm a superstar. :) next week doesn't look to be much better, though, unfortunately. at least i get to sleep in tomorrow.... i may even clean house!

bad news, though: uncle fred was just diagnosed with leukemia... good news is that they probably caught it early enough that it hasn't really metasthatized, but he will still have to undergo radiation treatment. i swear, there's got to be some medical technology less debilitating and more effective than chemotherapy. *sigh*

going out to dinner tonight with the fam... my cousin beth is moving to china soon, so we're going out with her parents and my parents to a cajun restaurant in san carlos. should be yummy, and i've heard good things. i have to dress up though! doh. at least i shaved my legs last night in preparation. aren't you excited?
