i'm getting so very tired of being let down by people. specific people, meaning people i think i consider friends (and not one of the few people that read this thing regularly, i don't think, so please don't feel as though i'm calling you out). do i expect that much of people, that they can't even be courteous friends? i don't understand. i'm a loyal, committed, honest person who follows through on what she says she's going to do, who says what she thinks, and who makes significant efforts for friends. why the heck don't my friends do the same for me? what a damn letdown.
