ack! i hate when blogger erases my posts. hmph.

on a whim, i bought some cashew butter at trader joe's today. i like cashews and i love peanut butter, so i thought i'd try it. i was trying to decide between cashew butter and almond butter, but i like cashews better than almonds (hence my selection). i'm not sure whether it's because i like peanut butter so much and was expecting too much of the cashew butter, but it wasn't nearly as flavorful as i'd hoped. oh well, i wanted to try it at least. i did get some yummy soups, mochi, and fruit leathers as a consolation, though.

so it looks like super bowl xxxix will pit the returning champion new england patriots against the philadelphia eagles. i'll be rooting for the eagles, but i wish that the steelers or the colts had made it to the championship game against them. it's too bad for the steelers, considering the amazing season they had, carried by a rookie quarterback! during the pats-steelers game today, the commentators mentioned that tom brady (the pats' qb) was available in the draft at the same time as tim rattay. tim rattay, as some of you know, is the 49ers' qb. can you imagine where the niners might be if they had made a different choice that day? man. *sigh*
