i had an assist this weekend! for anyone who is anywhere near as rabid a soccer kid as i am, you know that that's a fairly rare occasion for a defender. not only that, but we won! and the earthquakes won in a concussion-bearing, stoppage-time comeback... and ucla beat the pants off of oklahoma! yet another good sports weekend in my world. now if only the a's could pass the angels so they don't have to worry about the wild card race...

does anyone care about sports as obsessively as i do?
